Dakshina Mookambika

There are only certain unique moments in life when we really feel content and peaceful...well i feel this when i'm at panachikkad saraswathy temple, at least am lucky to be here, in front of devi.Also known as dakshina mookambika,the temple is about 4 kms from chingavanam(between kottayam and changanacherry).The "prathishtas" are saraswathy,vishnu,sastha,ganapathy,yakshi.This was my second trip to the temple.We started at about 5.20 am and reached the temple by 7.15.The very idea that am there made me feel better.I Don't know why...Now,unlike other temples, here the actual deity could be seen only during "vijayadashami".The place is very beautiful and calm.Especially the big well like structure where the devi's "vigraham" is situated,surrounded by creepers.I have heard that people give pens and sacred threads for offering special "poojas". I wanted to be there for a long time standing in front of devi,saying evreything i wanted to,but lo... its time to return.I had to be satisfied with this.After offering prayers we returned,with the hope of coming back...
