ഒരു സായാഹ്നത്തിന്റെ ഓര്‍മയ്ക്കായ്

മലയാളത്തില്‍ എന്തെങ്കിലും എഴുതണം എന്നൊരു മോഹം.ചിലപ്പോള്‍ ചില ചെറിയ ചെറിയ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ വലുതായിട്ട് നമ്മുക്ക് തോന്നും.മുന്‍പെപ്പോഴോ എഴുതിയപോലെ ഒരു കുട്ടിയുടെ നിഷ്കളങ്കമായ ചിരി ,അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ഒരു ചെറിയ തണുത്ത കാറ്റു, അങ്ങനെ എന്തെങ്കിലും,...ഈയെടക്ക് എനിക്കും അങ്ങനെ ഒരു അനുഭവം ഉണ്ടായി.വെറുതെ നടക്കാന്‍ പോയതായിരുന്നു തൊട്ടടുത്തുള്ള ഒരു പാര്‍കില്‍.സാധാരണ നടക്കാറുള്ള വഴിയില്‍ നിന്നല്പം മാറിയാണ് നടന്നത്.നല്ല കാലാവസ്ഥ.റോഡിലൂടെ നടക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ദൂരെ അസ്തമിക്കാന്‍ തുടങ്ങുന്നുതു കാണാം.ഒരു ഓറഞ്ചു ആര്‍ക് പോലെ കാണാം.ചുറ്റിനും ആകാശത്തിന്റെ നീലിമയും എല്ലാം കൂടെ പറഞ്ഞറിയിക്കാന്‍ വയ്യാത്ത ഒരു ഭംഗി.ഒരു നിമിഷം ബാകി എല്ലാം ഇല്ലാതാവുന്ന പോലെ ഒരു തോന്നല്‍.എന്തോ ഒരു സന്തോഷം...

It is really pathetic how man just take animals for granted.Don't they also have right to live on this planet..I really wonder.I remember reading a cartoon "മൃഗാധിപത്യം വന്നാല്‍" from one of the malayalam magazines that illustrates what would happen if animals take over us and treat us the way humans do to them.hmmm...

Am in a dream?

I saw an excellent Masterpiece movie recently and I thought of writing about it.It was a breathtaking experience; simply awesome.The very concept of dream within a dream is thrilling.Inception is a movie about a persons journey of finding out highly confidential information by sailing through a persons mind using dreams.The protagonist is so much into it that he loses his wife.The only way he can get to his children is by doing something that his kind of people believe is impossible; "Inception" : planting an idea into a persons mind by traveling through his dream.The plot becomes more convoluted as he and his friends try to create,and manage four levels of dreams ,each having their own duration and finally try to implant the idea into Cillian Murphy,the businessman's mind.Writer/director Christopher Nolan doesn't make it that specific;not revealing whether finally Leonardo DiCaprio managed to reach his destiny or is stuck in his dream world wandering, making the climax the more appealing.Hats Off to the the man behind the movie.

Amazing Amazon

Not even in my wildest dreams i assumed that the meaning of "Amazon"(also the name of a e-shopping website) is "female warrior" or "Ambrosia"(a famous fast food outlet) is "Food of the Gods" or to "Annex" is to "attach" or poles "asunder" is poles "apart" or "Perfunctory" is "done without care"(I assumed it to be a science lab or so ..:)).Its funny what a word "sounds like" and what it actually means....At times its incredible to study a language "profoundly"!!!

Moments...

There are certain moments in life when we simply feel to do something terribly,but can't due to various reasons.After some time we may laugh at ourselves thinking how crazy it was or may be how childish it was.But then for some time one may even feel a strong urge to do it.That could be travelling to some really far away place,eating something that is unavailable,talking to someone whom u dont even know how to contact and such weird things.Well i feel most of us have gone through such moments.If at all we could do that thing that we wanted there is a strange feel of appeasement.
