I guess its time for me to write about one of the most scenic places we have visited this summer. When we reached seattle the weather was perfect for a holiday...of course it was hot...but ok.Bellevue ;where we stayed was a residential area and home for a number of software giants including Microsoft and Google .Next day morning, our first destination was the Museum of Flight. It was a very big museum with a lot of artifacts, models and information on airplanes including The Boeing. We even got a chance to fly one...oops not for real...!!!In the Museums Airpark,we had a look and even climbed aboard some of the giants : the Air Force One,a Boeing 727 and even a Concorde! The Air Force One is America's first presidential Jet plane that had carried presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon, and many other VIPs.
Our next visit was to the Space Needle that gave a magnificent view of the Downtown.Atop from the deck we get a superb 360 degree view of the lake Washington on one side and the town on the other. Its said that the on an average hot day the needle expands about 1 inch! There is a restaurant as well as a circular deck atop. The ascent to the top of the needle in the elevator itself was great wherein we feel that we are about to fly.
