Its Snowing here

Wow...for the first time in my life im seeing a snowfall...
The experience was simply superb...it is awesome to look through one's window to find something that looks like white cotton balls falling down. Moreover in no time the whole area would be under a very soft white blanket of snow...!!!
Its also great to feel the snow in your hands...but then to my surprise..before i could hold them all they melted off...

Seattle -- Nature at its best

I guess its time for me to write about one of the most scenic places we have visited this summer. When we reached seattle the weather was perfect for a holiday...of course it was hot...but ok.Bellevue ;where we stayed was a residential area and home for a number of software giants including Microsoft and Google .Next day morning, our first destination was the Museum of Flight. It was a very big museum with a lot of artifacts, models and information on airplanes including The Boeing. We even got a chance to fly one...oops not for real...!!!In the Museums Airpark,we had a look and even climbed aboard some of the giants : the Air Force One,a Boeing 727 and even a Concorde! The Air Force One is America's first presidential Jet plane that had carried presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon, and many other VIPs.
Our next visit was to the Space Needle that gave a magnificent view of the Downtown.Atop from the deck we get a superb 360 degree view of the lake Washington on one side and the town on the other. Its said that the on an average hot day the needle expands about 1 inch! There is a restaurant as well as a circular deck atop. The ascent to the top of the needle in the elevator itself was great wherein we feel that we are about to fly.

Telepathy

Well.....this time it is a very controversial topic that i thought would write about...
But im not going to the controversy part of this subject...Its strange that we label certain incidents in life as "coincidence" or "telepathy".There are no explanations for such situations...we don't know how it happened so...I guess many of us have experienced these. It could be in the form of a dream...wherein you have already seen a place where you have never been...;in the form of certain scenes in life which you are sure you are reliving..and so on.

Telepathy happens when we are communicating indirectly..by some means which are not very certain to layman.I had this strange experience when i was about to call someone,i couldn't get the call..to my astonishment i found that at the same time the person was trying to call me...i don't know how we tried calling each other at the same time...may be telepathy...

Serenity

In todays world where time is more valuable than anything, where the faster you are the smarter you become, and where life has become unimaginably fast, finding peace is very very hard.I guess that is the reason why i liked this place so much.Known as the Cathedral of St Paul, the Church stood remarkably silent, pious and serene.Whatever you are, wherever you are from, few minutes of prayer at the Cathedral takes you to a different world. The architecture is amazing with the colored panes, carved ceilings and beautiful pillars.A museum at the ground floor throws light on the History of the
cathedral. The City is very well named after the Cathedral.

Our First BBQ

Well this is about an experience that i had recently..
I have read about barbeque's in magazines, and like others have seen it on TV..but i hardly knew that we can also do it and there also something for veggies.I assumed that usually we barbecue meat ; even the dictionary says so...During our trip to Duluth, a pure veg barbecue was planned(being pure Veggies) ,and it was a success;most importantly a whole new experience. We had sweet potato, bell pepper, onion, tomato, mushroom. It was yummy...

Stories....

Its true that every person has a story...and sometimes i cant assimilate a person to be associated with a particular story.Individuals are not what they seem to be...Each person has a unique story. There may be similarities, coincidences and all,but no two persons possess the same tale. These tales have a lot of characters, main ones ,insignificant ones, people who are not very significant but still play their roles and so on.In a lifetime an individual comes across thousands and thousands of such tales, not tales but life experiences...May be this is how God directs us to do certain things and help us take key decisions with ease.

The Banyan Tree

There are certain moments in life when we crave terribly for something which we never thought would be so much inseparable.Things which seemed to be just a part of us.I guess am going through that.
Few days back, during an evening walk,i happened to stand beneath a large banyan tree.It was a windy day and the leaves were dancing in a rhythm. For a moment i persuaded myself that am somewhere in front of a temple in my place.I could feel the peace of mind, happiness and what not.I didn't want to believe otherwise.I badly wanted to breath my place.Alas...as i looked down i had to embrace the reality, the realization that i am missing something terribly...but i don't know what.....

Change is the only thing that wont "change"...
