a smile...

I had never felt before that a smile can do wonders.On the way to town,there is a kindergarten.I often look at children playing there.This time i was lost in my thoughts and worries,but still for a second i looked there.I found a cute kid looking at me.She was staring and wondering whether she should smile at me or not,and i was also in the same situation.Finally she smiled at me and I smiled back.I don't know why,but for some time i felt very much relieved and light.
I have always felt that a smile can take different meanings.But we don't usually realize its significance.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY..?

I never understand why a train journey to a particular place and a headache are always related.While i was lost in my world,i heard a song,no...not a song,it was a cry?i saw a small girl in rags,and i suddenly got reminded of the day.She was demanding(begging?) from us and I gave her a coin.I was uncertain about whether i actually helped her or not,when i heard a co-passenger telling "these kids remind us how lucky we are and we must be thankful to god for what we are"
.Lo...what a thought!I am sure we can do more than simply pouring out sympathy.Now they don't need this sympathy.But i'm still confused whether i did anything wrong by giving her alms.Even though i wished to help her,i doubt whether this was the right way to do it...
