Defining friendship!

I know very well that its difficult to define friendship,but there is nothing wrong in making an attempt right?Well,the very thought came to me when i had to answer a question: why do you have such a friend...
Now how do i answer that;why do you make another person your friend,rather how do you define friendship.The answer varies from person to person.Mere acquaintance may not lead to friendship. Finally you can't say any particular reason for having another as your friend.But I'm sure friendship is beyond what they say in those forwarded mails.OOPS I'm not against those.
It never struck me until i got this question.

my first GD

I had a strange desire to attend a group discussion,i still don't know why.And now i have attended my first gd ,as part of a recruitment drive.We got a very comfortable topic to discuss.But I was struggling to get a chance to speak out.I wonder whether this is how it proceeds.I somehow managed to speak my part.I have no idea about the results,but am glad that i got a chance to participate.

I miss our first bench!

Whenever we were asked to change our classrooms,i have noticed that nobody wants "the first bench",and we(myself and three of my friends) were the only ones who occupied.Well we never felt it as a boring place and moreover sitting there didn't prevent us from anything.

I don't know why suddenly i miss it.I got reminded of my friend saying "Alas we cant sit there again!".Certain things cant be changed.
